Last updated: Owner decision required: date of publication
These terms govern your use of this website, the FollowApp software — including the FollowBot, AutoBot, CraftBot and External Overlay features — and any associated services. Together those are called “the Service” below.
By purchasing a subscription, downloading the software or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1 · Who we are
The Service is provided under the trading name Path of Botting by the operator of pathofbotting.com. Path of Botting is a trading name, not a registered company: there is no incorporated entity behind the Service, and the operator is personally the other party to these terms.
Owner decision required: the country, an address, and a contact address for legal notices
The trading name is settled (owner, 2026-09-07). Still needed: the country the operator trades from, a registered or business address, and a contact address for legal notices. Several jurisdictions require a trader’s address to be disclosed before a consumer purchase, and section 17 cannot name a governing law without a country.
2 · Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to purchase a subscription.
You must have the legal right to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
Owner decision required: excluded territories and sanctions screening
Whether any territories are excluded from sale, and whether sanctions screening is required for cryptocurrency payments.
3 · What the Service is
The Service is software that automates gameplay in Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2, video games published by Grinding Gear Games, together with a website and a community where it is supported.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Grinding Gear Games or any of its affiliates in any way. All game names, trademarks and content belong to their respective owners and are referred to here only to describe what our software works with.
4 · Risk to your game account — read this one
Using the Service violates the terms of service of the game it automates. Grinding Gear Games prohibits third-party automation. Accounts used with this software can be, and are, suspended or permanently banned.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You accept that risk entirely. You are choosing to breach an agreement between you and the game’s publisher. That is your decision and your consequence.
- We have no control over enforcement. We do not know how detection works, when it happens or what triggers it. We cannot predict it and we cannot prevent it.
- We make no representation that the Service is undetectable, safe or low-risk. We have never made such a claim and any such claim from any source is unfounded.
- A ban is not a defect in the Service. Loss of a game account, loss of in-game items, currency or progress, and any other consequence of the game publisher’s enforcement, is not a fault of the Service, is not covered by any warranty, and does not entitle you to a refund, a replacement, an extension or compensation of any kind.
If losing your game account is not acceptable to you, do not use the Service on that account.
5 · Subscriptions
Terms. Subscriptions are sold for a fixed period of one month or three months from the date the subscription is granted.
No automatic renewal. Subscriptions do not renew automatically. No payment method is stored for recurring billing and you will never be charged again without making a new purchase. When the period ends, access ends.
Instances. Subscriptions are sold by instance count. An instance is one character under the bot’s control — one running game client with a profile loaded into it. Your subscription permits that many clients to run at the same time. Details are in the setup guide.
Concurrent subscriptions. You may hold more than one subscription. Unless you ask for them to be kept separate, concurrent subscriptions combine into a single allowance.
Owner decision required: where the plan catalogue and prices live
Whether the plan catalogue, prices and instance counts are stated in these terms, incorporated by reference to the pricing page, or both. Pricing that appears only in a dropdown is insufficient in several consumer jurisdictions.
6 · Licence
Subject to these terms and to an active subscription, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the software for the duration of your subscription.
Machine records. The software derives an identifier from the computer it runs on and sends it when it signs in. We record which identifiers have signed in with each licence, for support and to detect credential sharing. The licence is not locked to any machine; your use of the software is limited by the number of concurrent instances your subscription allows, not by the number of machines.
You may not:
- copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lend or redistribute the software
- share your licence credentials with anyone — splitting a grant into a separate licence is the supported way to give someone else access
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code or the network protocol of the software, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
- remove, alter or circumvent any licensing, authentication or protection mechanism
- use the Service to develop a competing product
Ownership of the software remains with us. Nothing here transfers any intellectual property.
7 · Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8 · Payment
Payment is accepted by PayPal and by cryptocurrency. Prices are stated in US dollars.
Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible. Once a blockchain transaction confirms, it cannot be reversed, cancelled or recalled by us, by you, or by anyone else. This is a property of the technology and not a policy we chose. It means:
- you are responsible for sending the correct amount, to the correct address, on the correct network
- funds sent to a wrong address or over a wrong network are permanently lost and cannot be recovered by us
- funds sent as an amount smaller than the price — including where your exchange has deducted a withdrawal fee — may not be automatically accepted
Where a cryptocurrency payment has confirmed on chain but has not been automatically credited, contact support with the transaction reference. We will attempt to identify and credit it. Do not send a second payment.
Owner decision required: when the price is fixed
Whether the price is fixed at the time of order or at the time of confirmation, and how cryptocurrency exchange-rate movement between those two moments is handled. This is a real commercial exposure and it needs an explicit rule.
Owner decision required: tax treatment
Whether prices include or exclude VAT, GST or sales tax, and how digital-services tax obligations are met for customers in the EU, the UK and elsewhere. This is not optional and it is not something a template can answer.
9 · Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited.
10 · Support
Support is provided through our Discord community and through this website.
We aim to be responsive. We do not commit to a response time, a resolution time, or that any given problem will be resolved.
11 · Availability, updates and compatibility
The Service depends on a third-party game that is updated frequently and without notice to us. Game updates routinely break compatibility until an updated client is released.
You acknowledge that:
- the Service may be unavailable or non-functional for periods following a game update
- we do not guarantee uptime, availability or continued compatibility
- features may change, be added or be removed
- periods of downtime or incompatibility do not extend your subscription and do not entitle you to a refund, except as provided in the Refund Policy
Owner decision required: whether a long outage earns an extension
Whether an extended outage — one longer than some defined period — does entitle a customer to an extension. A goodwill rule here is cheap and prevents disputes. Defining one is recommended.
12 · Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, without refund, if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse or payment reversal.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Because nothing renews automatically, there is nothing to cancel.
Owner decision required: whether termination forfeits unused time
Whether termination for breach forfeits unused subscription time in all cases or only for specified categories of breach. A blanket forfeiture clause is a common source of disputes and of chargebacks.
13 · Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with any given system or game version, or that it will achieve any particular result.
Owner decision required: how this clause is qualified for consumers
In many jurisdictions consumer warranties cannot be excluded. This clause needs to be qualified accordingly for the territories where customers actually are.
14 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of a game account, in-game items, in-game currency, progress, profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the Owner decision required: the period, for example three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Owner decision required: whether a liability cap survives review
Liability caps are restricted or void in many jurisdictions, particularly for consumers. This clause must be reviewed against the territories being sold into and cannot simply be asserted.
15 · Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, or your breach of any third-party agreement — including the game publisher’s terms of service.
16 · Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced on this website and in the Discord community before they take effect.
Owner decision required: notice period and how acceptance works
How much notice, and whether continued use constitutes acceptance or whether affirmative agreement is required. “Continued use” clauses are weak or unenforceable in several jurisdictions.
17 · Governing law and disputes
Owner decision required: governing law, jurisdiction and dispute procedure
This cannot be drafted without the answer to section 1. A choice of law clause does not remove mandatory consumer protections in the customer’s own country, so this needs real advice rather than a copied clause — particularly given that the customer base is international.
18 · Contact
Owner decision required: a contact address for legal notices
Discord is adequate for support and is not adequate for service of notice.
