Refund Policy

When money comes back, when it does not, and how to ask.

This describes a workable position consistent with how the business actually operates, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The refund window is decided: 4 days (owner, 2026-09-07) — see section 4. Consumer law in the EU, the UK and elsewhere grants cancellation rights for digital purchases that a policy cannot override. 7 points are open, D1 to D7, each marked in place below.

The short version

  • Nothing renews automatically, so there are no accidental recurring charges to refund. You are only ever charged when you choose to buy.
  • Cryptocurrency payments cannot be reversed once confirmed. This is a property of the blockchain, not a policy choice.
  • If we failed to deliver what you paid for, we will fix it or refund it.
  • If your game account is banned, that is not refundable. You knew the risk and you accepted it when you bought.

1 · Before you buy

Subscriptions are for a fixed period — one month or three months — and do not renew. There is nothing to cancel and no stored payment method.

The software automates a game against that game’s terms of service. Read the ban risk answer before purchasing. It is deliberately blunt.

2 · When we will refund

We did not deliver. You paid, your subscription was never granted, and we cannot grant it. In practice this almost never happens — payments that fail automatic verification are nearly always found and credited manually — but if we cannot deliver, you get your money back.

You were charged twice for the same thing. Duplicate payments for a single purchase are refunded on request.

A defect in our software made it unusable and we could not fix it. If the software does not work for you, you have raised it with support, and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, we will consider a refund proportionate to the unused part of your subscription.

A discretionary clause invites argument at exactly the moment a customer is already unhappy.

Where the law requires it. Consumer protection law in your country may give you rights that this policy cannot remove. Where it does, those rights apply.

3 · When we will not refund

Your game account was suspended or banned. The Service automates a game whose publisher prohibits automation. That risk is stated plainly before purchase, on the product pages, in the FAQ and in the Terms of Service. It is the risk you chose to take. Bans are not refundable, are not compensated, and do not extend a subscription.

You changed your mind after using it. Once the software has been downloaded and used under your subscription, the thing you bought has been delivered.

This is the clause most likely to be unenforceable for EU and UK consumers, where a 14-day right of withdrawal applies to digital content unless the consumer has expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal. If that consent is not captured at checkout, this clause does not hold. Either capture it properly at checkout or change this clause — do not leave it asserted and unsupported.

You sent cryptocurrency incorrectly. Funds sent to the wrong address, over the wrong network, or in the wrong amount cannot be recovered by us. We do not hold them. Nobody does.

You were terminated for breaching the terms. See the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.

The game changed. Path of Exile updates routinely break compatibility until an updated client ships. Periods of incompatibility are an expected part of this category of software and are not, by themselves, refundable.

Owner decision required: a goodwill threshold for a long outage

An outage beyond some defined length producing an automatic subscription extension. It costs little, it is easy to administer, it is the fair answer, and it prevents the dispute that otherwise arrives every time a game patch lands badly.

4 · The refund window

You may ask for a refund within 4 days of purchase, provided the software has not been downloaded under that subscription. After the 4 days, or once the software has been downloaded, refunds are limited to the failure cases in section 2.

The 4 days run from the time of purchase. “Purchase” is when the payment confirmed — for a PayPal payment, when PayPal reported it complete; for a cryptocurrency payment, when the transfer confirmed on chain.

Statutory cancellation rights for consumers in jurisdictions that grant them — the EU and UK 14-day right of withdrawal among them — are not shortened by this window. Where they apply, they apply.

Decided by the owner 2026-09-07. The pre-download condition carries over from the earlier draft and has not been separately ruled on; the lawyer’s question in section 3 about the withdrawal-right waiver still stands.

5 · Cryptocurrency refunds

Where a refund is due on a cryptocurrency payment, it is paid in cryptocurrency, to an address you provide, less network fees.

Whether a refund is calculated at the value in US dollars at the time of purchase, or as the same quantity of the coin originally sent. These give very different results and the rule must be stated before it is needed, not chosen after.

We do not refund cryptocurrency payments to a different payment method.

6 · How to request a refund

Open a ticket in the Discord community or contact support with:

  • your account name
  • the transaction reference — the PayPal transaction ID, or the on-chain transaction ID for cryptocurrency
  • what happened

Owner decision required: a target response time

Even “within 5 working days” is better than silence, and a stated time reduces the chargebacks that come from customers who assume they are being ignored.

7 · Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first. Nearly every case is a verification failure with the money entirely safe and a subscription that can be granted in minutes.

Raising a chargeback or a PayPal dispute without contacting us first will result in access being suspended while it is investigated.

And whether that is stated publicly. There is a real trade-off: a deterrent that is stated is more effective, and a deterrent that is stated may itself provoke disputes.
