Why controller support?
There are many valid reasons for emulating controllers on PCs, making them an excellent choice for an input method. One key advantage is the availability of powerful kernel-level controller emulators, such as ViGEmBus by Nefarius. Additionally, PCs natively support multiple controllers on a single system, giving controllers a significant edge over mouse and keyboard setups. Another benefit of controllers is their simplicity, which makes heuristic analysis more challenging. For all these reasons, controllers are my top choice for input devices, both now and likely in the long term.
