    Pathfinding has been added to FollowBot! Pathfinding causes the bots to take the most efficient path to the host. They should no longer get caught on corners or stuck on walls, also when they re-spawn they'll be able to path through most maps to get back to the host! The pathfinding is highly optimized & is only active when the bots do not have line of sight to the host, meaning most of the time there will be no performance loss at all! They can use one of two different collision maps, one that allows the bots to path over jumpable objects such as fences, doors, ledges etc. and another collision map that will cause the bots to path around all map objects.

    To access these features, edit a profile and click Settings:

    Enable Pathfinding: This setting toggles pathfinding for the bot. By default this setting is enabled in all profiles, un-check this option to disable this feature.
    Path over jumpable objects: This option tells the bot which collision map to use, enabling this option will allow the bot to path over jumpable map objects/walls/fences etc. When setting this option make sure the bot is using a profile with a move skill that is able to jump over objects like Flame Dash or Leap Slam. If the bot doesn't use a move skill, or the bot is using a move skill than cannot jump over objects like Shield Charge be sure to un-select this option. This option is enabled by default and is recommended when possible. There is also built in logic that causes the bots to switch to the other collision map for a short time in the event it gets stuck or is unable to jump over an object.

    External Overlay
    Version 1.0.6 (4/25/24)

    Pathfinding has also been added to the External Overlay! This feature shows the most efficient paths to locations like Entrances, Waypoints, Quests, Labyrinth locations etc. This can make going through the campaign much easier and can be a huge time saver! Please note the map labels are still in beta and may be inconsistent, this will be updated soon!
    Multithreading has been added to the Overlay! Multithreading massively increases the performance of the Overlay, especially in juiced maps or on maps with a lot of pathfinding. ​​It is recommended to keep this feature activated for optimal performance. However, for systems operating with limited resources, there is an option to disable this feature.
