I want to run a full party but I only have 1 computer. It's a beast but I can't figure out how to setup multiple instances. Can you tell me how.

That's an excellent question. I'm surprised we don't have an infographic for that. I will make sure Renner gets that information to you as quickly as possible as well as start an infographic for future users. Thanks again for the question!

FollowBot is coded to be able to run multiple instances of POE on a single Machine. Just start up the instances of POE side-by-side and the application will automatically detect the different instances of POE running.

However, if you want to be as safe as possible, I would recommend setting up a few Virtual Machines. VMWare is what I typically use, but there's also a program that's shipped natively with Windows 11 Pro called Hyper-V that can setup Virtual Machines as well. I would recommend giving each VM at least 2 cores and 8GB of ram.

I can also Highly recommend using a program called "poeNullEffects" thanks to a subscriber. It will massively increase the performance of POE and that can be very important inside a Virtual Machine. You would need to get the full version to get the most out of it, and disable all effects and environments.

Then, setup a VPN inside each Virtual Machine as well so that each machine looks like its coming from a different IP address.

If you need any additional help setting these things up, please let us know!

I tried vmware. Did install it. Launched poe and barely can move the mouse. I chose 8gb of ram and 4 cores 1 thread I guess. Anything that I need to do? My main machine is 9900K and AMD 6900xt

1 thread is probably too low, try increasing that to 2 or 3, search for a tutorial on how to setup GPU passthrough on the VM and use an app like poeNullEffect to reduce the gpu load
